Stanley Park rated Best Park in the World by TripAdvisor

    Popular travel advisory website, TripAdvisor has rated the 400-hectare urban oasis in Vancouver as best park amongst the 'Top 25 Parks' in the world. 
     
    A fan describes the park on the website saying- “A mini-forest, beautiful gardens, totem poles and scenic walkways make this such a peaceful location. I made a huge pile of autumn leaves and dove into them like a little kid.”
     
    Recognized as the biggest park in Vancouver and the third-biggest in North America at 400 hectares, Stanley Park is at the top of the game. The 500,000 ancient monolithic cedar, fir and hemlock trees, kilometres of hiking trails make this park the perfect fit for the top spot amongst other contenders. 
     
    The park reportedly attracts 8 million visitors annually and offers a variety of activities ranging from running, biking, inline skating, miniature railways, aquarium and more.
