Saanich Police are investigating a sexual assault in a campus washroom at the University of Victoria.
A safety bulletin issued by the university says the victim was assaulted in a men’s washroom on the first floor of a campus building on Tuesday morning.
The suspect -- described as a “heavy-set” male who was at least sixty years old -- fled after the attack.
The school says the university grounds are patrolled around the clock and campus security will be “closely monitoring” the area where the assault happened.
Canada's Justice Department says Aydin Coban was taken back to his home country on Nov. 24, where he will continue serving a nearly 11-year sentence imposed by a Dutch court in 2017 for similar crimes involving more than 30 youth.
