  • Surrey afternoon shooting lands 1 in hospital

On Friday, just after 1:30pm, Surrey RCMP received a report of shots fired in the 8400 block of 120 Street.

Frontline officers attended the scene and located a man who appeared to be suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

At approximately 2:07 p.m., Surrey RCMP were notified of a vehicle fire in the 9900 block of 179 Street.  At this point it is not known if there is a link between the two incidents.

The Surrey RCMP General Investigation Unit (GIU) has conduct of both investigations and are in the evidence gathering phase. 

Anyone with information or dash camera footage is asked to call the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502.

Narinder Sandhu is described as a 69 year old South Asian Male. He is 5"7 with a slim build with white facial hair. He is believed to be riding a white Infinity mountain bike. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Narinder Sandhu is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604 599 0502.
