  • Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade Officially Launches with New Brand Identity

Today marks a new chapter in the region’s business community with the official launch of the Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade (SWRBOT).

This historic merger between the Surrey Board of Trade and the South Surrey & White Rock Chamber of Commerce brings together two long-standing organizations into one unified voice for business, innovation, and economic growth.

Alongside the launch, the organization revealed its new brand identity and website(swrbot.com), symbolizing unity, progress, and the strength of the regional business community.

"The merger of the Surrey Board of Trade and the South Surrey & White Rock Chamber of Commerce is more than an administrative change, it’s the uniting of two strong business voices into one. Together, we have the scale, reach, and influence to better advocate for our members, attract investment, and build a thriving economy that benefits all of Surrey and White Rock. This is about creating a stronger foundation for the future of business in our region," said Board Chair Rory Morgan.

The new brand icon features a circle, derived from the Surrey Board of Trade’s brand, which represents both unity and community – defining SWRBOT’s dedication to uniting local businesses to ensure both Surrey and White Rock remain cities where communities can thrive.

Within the circle are two upward pointing arrows, derived from the South Surrey & White Rock Chamber of Commerce’s brand, which represents growth and progress – defining both Surrey and White Rock’s ever-increasing growth, where SWRBOT plays a vital role in achieving that progress.

“Our new brand builds on the strong foundations established by the Surrey Board of Trade and the South Surrey & White Rock Chamber of Commerce, while bringing them together under one unified identity. The icon reflects connection, collaboration, and forward momentum—qualities that define both Surrey and White Rock.

As the Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade, we are proud to introduce a fresh, modern brand that symbolizes our commitment to being your voice for a thriving business community, uniting our region, and supporting an inclusive and prosperous future,” said CEO Joslyn Young.

As one of the largest chambers of commerce/boards of trade in Canada, with members across all sectors of the economy, the Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade will continue to provide leadership, advocacy, networking, and resources to ensure businesses have the tools they need to thrive.

“This is more than just a merger,” said Young. “It’s the start of a new era for Surrey and White Rock businesses.”
