Surrey Man Bleeding From Gunshot Wounds Takes Skytrain To Surrey City Centre Mall Food Court

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 28 Mar, 2015 02:57 PM
SURREY, B.C. — RCMP say a Surrey man took a SkyTrain to a mall food court after suffering serious injuries in a shooting.

Mounties received a call at around 4:45 p.m. Friday about a man in the Surrey City Centre mall food court who had apparently been shot.

Officers responded and found the man, who was "visibly bleeding" from two gunshot wounds.

RCMP say he was initially unco-operative but eventually agreed to be taken to hospital, where he was transported in serious condition.

The Surrey resident in his 20s is known to police and has suggested the shooting occurred in a different community, but has not been forthcoming with

    information.

Witnesses told officers that the man took the SkyTrain to Surrey Central Station and then entered the mall a short time before he was found by police.
