Surrey Man Slashed in the face in Whistler

Darpan News Desk Darpan, 20 May, 2014 01:16 PM

A 19-year-old male from Surrey was rushed to the hospital after his face was slashed outside a Whistler nightclub.

The incident that occurred Saturday was one of the four altercations that the RCMP was called to the very same night.

Police told media that the individual was intoxicated and does not know who slashed him in the face.

"He provided a vague description of a South Asian male wearing a blue, plaid shirt, jeans, short spiky hair, about six feet tall with a medium, stocky build and a full, short beard. He said this male had a black eye from his altercation with the victim," Staff Sgt. Steve LeClair with Whistler RCMP.

Several other individuals have confirmed the description provided by the victim but police has not been able to locate the suspect.

Reports also suggest that there were about 100 individuals intoxicated outside the club that day.
