Surrey Police Seeking Public’s Assistance With An Investigation Into A Stabbing

    Surrey RCMP is requesting assistance from the public with an on-going investigation into a stabbing at a local banquet hall on February 15.


    This past Friday, at approximately 10:00 pm, the Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing at a banquet hall located in the 8100 of 128 Street. Upon arrival, investigators located a 20-year-old male with serious but non-life threatening injuries and was transported to hospital.


    At the time of the occurrence, the banquet hall was hosting a large event with hundreds of people in attendance. Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed or has video of the assault to come forward and speak with the investigators.


    The Surrey RCMP General Investigation Unit now has conduct of the investigation.
