  • Surrey RCMP called after assault with a weapon leaves a man injured in South Surrey

Surrey RCMP are investigating an assault with a weapon that took place close to 152nd Street and 64th Avenue on Sunday morning at approximately 10am all due to an argument.

According to Mounties there was no exchange of gunfire, the parties involved knew each other, and this is a stand alone incident and not linked to the ongoing gang conflict in the Lower Mainland.

Once the police arrived at the scene they found a man suffering from his injuries and he was shortly transported to hospital.
