The Surrey RCMP General Investigation Unit is investigating an overnight shooting that took place around 2am with ties to the Lower Mainland Gang Conflict. The incident took place in the Newton area of 6200-block of 132A Street.
According to police there have been no injuries in this targeted incident. The public is not at risk.
The investigation is in its early stages and suspects are still being identified. Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to call Surrey RCMP at 604 599 0502.
The suspect allegedly broke into two different residences on two different dates (on September 3 and then on September 16). In both cases, he allegedly threatened the homeowners.
