Surrey RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect who broke into a Whalley construction site.

On February 5, 2023, at approximately 6:54 a.m., police responded to a break in at a construction site in the 10700-block of 138 Street. The suspect stole tools and security cameras from the site, prior to fleeing.

The suspect was observed on CCTV and is described as a Caucasian male wearing a black hoody with white designs, a blue jacket, dark pants, Nike runners and a black baseball cap.

We are releasing a photo in hopes that someone recognizes the suspect and can assist with advancing the investigation, says Surrey RCMP Media Relations Officer, Corporal Vanessa Munn.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502. If you wish to make an anonymous report, please contact Crime Stoppers.
