Surrey RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect who broke into a Whalley construction site.

On February 5, 2023, at approximately 6:54 a.m., police responded to a break in at a construction site in the 10700-block of 138 Street. The suspect stole tools and security cameras from the site, prior to fleeing.

The suspect was observed on CCTV and is described as a Caucasian male wearing a black hoody with white designs, a blue jacket, dark pants, Nike runners and a black baseball cap.

We are releasing a photo in hopes that someone recognizes the suspect and can assist with advancing the investigation, says Surrey RCMP Media Relations Officer, Corporal Vanessa Munn.
