UPDATE: 

Surrey RCMP is updating the public that 67-year-old man who was reported missing on May 23, 2023 has been located and is safe.

Thank you to the public, media as well as our policing and community partners for their assistance.

EARLIER STORY: 

Surrey RCMP is requesting the public assistance in locating a 67 year old male last seen in Newton, Surrey.

On Tuesday, Police received a report that Parmjit Dhillon was missing. Parmjit was last seen at approximately 7:30 a.m. in the 13800 block of 77A Avenue in Surrey. 

Parmjit was driving a 2007 white Honda Civic bearing British Columbia, license plate “595GMV”. 

Parmjit is described as a South Asian male, 5’7”, 146 lbs, short white hair, brown eyes; wearing a black jacket. 

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of this person is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502.

On January 9, 2023, shortly after noon, Surrey RCMP attended a residence in the 15600-block of 112 Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered three deceased adults inside the home. The IHIT says the bodies of 56-year-old Xiao Yan Zhen, 58 year-old Li Li and their 24-year-old son, Daniel Li, were in the home.
