UPDATE: Surrey RCMP advises that the 35-year-old male, who was reported missing on August 19, 2021 has been located and is safe. Thank you to the public, media, and our policing and community partners for their assistance.

EARLIER STORY: 

Surrey RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance with locating a 35-year-old man missing from the Newton area.

On August 18, 2021 at 4PM Alfaz Ismail was reported missing from a residence in the 12100- block of 78th Avenue where he was last seen earlier that day. Family and police are concerned for his health and wellbeing.

Alfaz Ismail is described as a 35- year-old Fijian male approximately 5’9, 170 lbs., with dark brown eyes and short black hair. He has several tattoos, which include a diamond and moneybag on his left hand as well as the letters MVP on the right side of neck and VIP on the left side of his neck. Alfaz Ismail was last seen wearing all black clothing.
