The City of Surrey will host Surrey Soccer Fan Zones from June 11 to July 19, 2026, offering residents and visitors free public viewing opportunities to come together and experience the excitement of the FIFA World Cup 26.

“We’re proud to offer Surrey Soccer Fan Zones – free, safe, and welcoming spaces where families can come together to enjoy FIFA World Cup 26™,” Mayor Brenda Locke said. “By providing these accessible, no-cost events, we’re helping families enjoy the games, cheer on their favourite teams, and make summer memories together.”

Three Fan Zones will bring the World Cup to Surrey: Surrey Civic Plaza, the Cloverdale Agriplex and South Surrey Athletic Park. Additional locations may be announced leading up to the start of the tournament. The Cloverdale Agriplex Fan Zone will be hosted indoors, while the Civic Plaza and South Surrey Athletic Park will be outdoors with tented seating areas to provide shade.

Each location will feature live match broadcasts on large screens, plus live entertainment, community-led soccer activities, food trucks, and beer gardens, providing safe and welcoming spaces for residents to celebrate throughout the tournament.

The official launch of Surrey Soccer Fan Zones will take place on June 12 at Surrey Civic Plaza, as Canada’s men’s national soccer team takes the field. Fans can cheer on the team with their community while enjoying special entertainment and activities to kick off the celebration.

The Fan Zones will celebrate Surrey’s cultural diversity and strengthen community connection through sport, while showcasing City Centre, Cloverdale and South Surrey as vibrant entertainment districts. By hosting the Fan Zones in Surrey’s major town centres, the City is supporting local businesses and highlighting Surrey as a premier entertainment and tourist destination.

With just 100 days until kickoff, the first-ever 48-team FIFA World Cup™, co-hosted by Canada, Mexico and the United States, will bring together fans from around the world across 16 host cities, including matches in Vancouver and Toronto. Surrey Soccer Fan Zones will connect the global excitement of the FIFA World Cup™ to local communities, creating shared spaces for residents and visitors to come together and celebrate.
