  • Surrey to host PGA Tour Americas’ flagship event in B.C. for the first time
The 2025 Fortinet Cup Championship, the season-ending event on the PGA Tour Americas, will take place at Morgan Creek Golf Course from Sept. 25 to 28.

The tournament will feature the top 120 players from the season-long Fortinet Cup points list and determine which 10 golfers earn a spot on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour, the official pathway to the PGA Tour.

“Through a $15,000 sport tourism grant, the City of Surrey is proud to help bring the PGA Tour Americas’ flagship event to British Columbia for the first time,” said Mayor Brenda Locke. “This week, we welcome players and fans from across the region to our city – a premier destination for sport tourism. This tournament is also a meaningful investment in our children, youth and families, benefitting two Surrey-based charities doing incredible work.”

Five dollars from every ticket sold will go to the tournament’s official charity partners: the C.H.I.L.D. Foundation and Sources Community Resource Centre's Foundry South Surrey Program. The C.H.I.L.D. Foundation funds research for children with intestinal and liver disorders, while Foundry South Surrey is a free walk-in centre that offers youth aged 12 to 24 and their families access to mental health care, substance use support, peer support and social services. A minimum of $50,000 will be raised to support these charities, alongside in-kind community programming.

“As one of the premier golf courses in Canada, we’re thrilled to showcase beautiful Morgan Creek – and the City of Surrey – on the global golf stage,” said Tom Doull, director of golf operations at Morgan Creek Golf Course. “The Agronomy Team at Morgan Creek has elevated the course conditions beyond the high standards we already have, creating a championship-level experience that the community can continue to enjoy long after the tournament. Hosting some of the most talented rising stars in professional golf through PGA Tour Americas is a true honour. We wish the players the best of luck and hope it's a memorable week for everyone involved.”

Daily and weekly passes are available. Kids aged 16 and under get in free. For details and tickets, visit fortinetcupchampionship.com
