Coquitlam RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect of an assault that occurred on Friday, November 4, 2022.

Mounties responded to an assault that occurred inside Superstore located at 1-3000 Lougheed Hwy in Coquitlam between 4:20 p.m. and 4:40 p.m. on November 4.

The suspect assaulted a woman who was seen with a small child.

The suspect can be described as an Asian Male, 25-35 years old, approximately 6’0 tall and medium build. The suspect was seen wearing a grey toque with fur pompom on the top, a black winter jacket with large collar, and dark coloured pants. 

Anyone who may recognize the male suspect or have information regarding the incident are asked to contact the Coquitlam RCMP.

Jasvir Parmar was last seen on November 21, 2022 in the 6600-block of 133rd Street. Her last contact with family was in the early morning hours on Tuesday.  Since then, efforts to find her have been unsuccessful. Police and family are concerned for Parmar’s well-being.
