Suspicious Death Of Teen In Vancouver, Targeted Shooting Injures Man In Surrey

    VANCOUVER — A man has been critically injured in Surrey, B.C., and a Vancouver teenager is dead in separate violent incidents.
     
    Surrey RCMP say a man is being treated in hospital after being found in the Port Kells neighbourhood, just after midnight, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
     
    Investigators believe the attack was targeted, but they haven't named the victim or said if any suspects have been identified.
     
    Meanwhile, Vancouver police are investigating the suspicious death of a 16-year-old boy.
     
    Officers were called to an East Vancouver home at about 3 p.m. Sunday to find the seriously injured youth, who was rushed to hospital but could not be saved.
     
    Major crimes detectives have taken over the case and have released few other details.
