Teen Actress Abigail Bergman And Friend Found In Toronto On Saturday: Police

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 03 May, 2015 01:30 AM
Police say a teenage actress and her friend who have been missing for nearly a week were found safe in Toronto on Saturday evening.

Fourteen-year-old Abigail Bergman — who acts on the Family Channel's "Next Step" series — and her friend Polinah Ouskova, 15, were reported missing by their families after they didn't return to their Oakville, Ont., homes on Monday night.

A statement released by Toronto police on Saturday said the pair were confirmed to have been in downtown Toronto on Friday.

Halton Regional Police announced the girls had been located in a release Saturday night and thanked the public for their help and support.

After hearing from each girl's family separately, police determined earlier this week that the teens likely disappeared together.

Police said the girls have disappeared separately in the past, but were found each time.
