Teenager sexually assaulted in Vancouver

Vancouver Police say a man has been charged after he allegedly sexually assaulted a teenager on a bus in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood.

They say the investigation began two weeks ago when the 15-year-old girl was groped on a bus near the intersections of Broadway and Quebec streets.

Police say sex crimes investigators worked with transit police to identify the suspect, who was arrested on Monday and later released with conditions.

They say the 25-year-old man has been charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of sexual interference.
