  • Thousands Attend the 23rd Annual Fleetwood Festival 2025

Thousands of residents and visitors gathered at Francis Park on Saturday, September 6, for the 23rd Annual Fleetwood Festival, one of Surrey’s largest and most beloved community events. This year’s festival brought together families, seniors, children, and local leaders for a vibrant day of celebration, culture, and community spirit.

The festival, hosted by the Fleetwood Community Centre in partnership with the Fleetwood Business Improvement Association, featured a wide range of free activities and entertainment, including live music, cultural performances, food trucks, community booths, and family-friendly attractions such as face painting, henna, bouncy castles, and mini golf.

MLA Jagrup Brar hosted a popular booth offering free goody bags for kids, delicious pakoras, gift baskets, and prize draws. The booth attracted hundreds of attendees throughout the day and received a very positive response from the community.

The festival took place at Francis Park, located behind the Fleetwood Community Centre (15996 84th Avenue, Surrey, at the corner of 160th Street & 84th Avenue), transforming the park into a hub of excitement and connection.

Organized by the City of Surrey and supported by the Fleetwood Business Improvement Association and the Fleetwood Community Association, the event was praised for its smooth coordination and diverse programming.

Fleetwood Festival continues to be a cornerstone community event, celebrating the growing diversity and unity of the Fleetwood neighbourhood.
