Three Sent To Hospital Following Crash Involving VPD Vehicle

    The Vancouver Police Collision Investigations Unit is investigating a multi-vehicle collision this morning involving an unmarked VPD SUV in East Vancouver.
     
     
    At around 8 a.m., a white police SUV was driving west on East Broadway when a blue Suzuki collided with it at Renfrew Street.  The Suzuki then hit a Ford Escape that was stopped at the light on Renfrew to go south.
     
     
    Each vehicle had one occupant and all three are having their non-life-threatening injuries assessed at hospital.
     
     
    Investigators are collecting evidence to determine what may have led to the collisions.
     
     
    The IIO has been notified of the collision.
