Three Shootings In Surrey, B.C., Were Targeted: RCMP

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 03 Apr, 2019 09:12 PM

SURREY, B.C. — The Mounties say two shootings early Wednesday are the third targeted shootings in Surrey, B.C., since Monday.

Police say they found a man in a home with gunshot wounds who was listed in critical condition in hospital after they responded to a report of shots fired just after 2 a.m.

Less than an hour after the first shooting, police say they were called to a report of multiple shots fired outside a home, but no victims were found and the house was vacant.

The RCMP say they arrested five people on Tuesday after two people were hurt in what they believe was a gang-related shooting and a subsequent car crash.
