Tickets For Pan Am And Parapan Am Games Cheaper To Buy On Canada Day

The Canadian Press, 30 Jun, 2015 01:10 PM
TORONTO — People who have procrastinated in buying tickets for the upcoming Pan Am and Parapan Am Games might want to wait a little longer.

Tickets for the international sports competitions will be cheaper to purchase on Canada Day.

CIBC, which is sponsoring the Games, says it is offering a 25-per-cent discount on all remaining tickets from 10 a.m. Wednesday to 9 p.m. Thursday.

People buying tickets online can get the discount by using the code CIBCPANAM.

Games organizers said last week that some 650,000 tickets have been sold for the Pan Am Games alone. In total, there are 1.4 million tickets for both Games.

The Toronto 2015 organizing committee has said it doesn't expect to sell every ticket.
