Toronto Police Arrest Two In Connection With Sina Parsi Death

The Canadian Press, 23 Jun, 2015 11:09 AM
Toronto police say two suspects wanted in connection with the death of Vaughan, Ont., man Sina Parsi have been arrested.

Police say both Clyde Marshall, a former resident of New Brunswick, and Sabrina Chouart of Gatineau, Quebec, are scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.

Police, which announced the arrests on Twitter, have not yet said where the pair were arrested and under what circumstances.

Parsi, who was 32, had disappeared after he left a soccer game on June 9th.

Arrest warrants were issued for the suspects after his body was found three days later in his west-end apartment.

On Monday, police had released new video footage of the two alleged suspects showing them entering a Toronto apartment building with Parsi shortly after midnight on June 10th.

According to police, it appears Parsi is "going willingly" in the video.

Surveillance video released last week showed a man and a woman walking with a big dog in the hallway of the building.

The dog was later found abandoned in Toronto.
