Toronto Police Charge Math Tutor And Fiancee In Gang Rape Of Teenager

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 25 Nov, 2015 01:31 PM
Toronto police say a local math tutor and his fiancee are facing charges of gang sexual assault related to one of his former students.

Police allege that Kevin Chan, who has worked in various schools throughout the greater Toronto area, befriended the 14-year-old victim over several years.

They say his fiancee, Kayla Drumonde, was also a volunteer at the victim's school.

Police allege the couple invited the girl to their home in 2014, where she was sexually assaulted.

Investigators believe there may be other victims, and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

They say Chan has worked in at least seven math learning centres between 2000 and 2015.
