Traffic delays for Cambie Bridge

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 19 Nov, 2024 04:34 PM
  • Traffic delays for Cambie Bridge

The City of Vancouver is warning the public about anticipated traffic delays — as well as walking and cycling detours — around Cambie Street Bridge starting this week.

It says in a news release that the disruptions will continue until the spring when rehabilitation work on the bridge deck is expected to be completed.

The city says the number of lanes open will vary as the work progresses, but at least one lane in each direction will always remain open.

It says the bridge will be accessible for pedestrians and cyclists, but bike lanes and sidewalks on one side of the bridge may be closed at times.
