Vancouver International Airport is reminding travellers to plan ahead as it’s expecting its busiest travel days for December this week. 

Y-V-R says from today to December 26th, close to 70-thousand passengers will be travelling through the airport per day to 97 destinations.

The airport says the busiest day of this month is likely to be December 22nd, with more than 74-thousand passengers anticipated. 

Y-V-R recommends travellers check their flight status online before coming to the airport to ensure smoother travel.
