Two Boys Kidnapped, Forced To Play Russian Roulette In Toronto

The Canadian Press, 28 Apr, 2016 10:56 AM
TORONTO — Police in Toronto say two teen boys were kidnapped, assaulted, forced to play Russian roulette with a loaded gun and perform sexual acts before being released.

Investigators say they're trying to locate a man and a 17-year-old boy and a Canada-wide warrant for kidnapping has been issued for the pair.

Police say the incident began early on April 19 when gunfire broke out at a downtown Toronto condo and led to the boys being kidnapped and held against their will at several locations throughout the city.

They say the 17-year-old boys were repeatedly assaulted and threatened with firearms over the course of two days and a ransom demand was made before they were released on April 21.

A 19-year-old man allegedly involved in the kidnapping was arrested on April 23 and faces numerous charges, including kidnapping for ransom, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and assault with a weapon.

The next day, police arrested three people — two adults and a 16-year-old boy — who are charged with various firearms-related offences.
