Two Dead After Overnight Calgary Shooting Police Say Was Not Random

    CALGARY — Two men are dead after an overnight shooting outside a Calgary restaurant


    Emergency crews were called to the northeast area shortly after 2 a.m. following reports of shots being fired.


    Police say one man died at the scene and the second person died in hospital.


    They say the shooting was not random.


    Witnesses report seeing another vehicle leaving the area and investigators are checking surveillance footage from nearby businesses.


    No one has been arrested.
