CALGARY — Two men are dead after an overnight shooting outside a Calgary restaurant
Emergency crews were called to the northeast area shortly after 2 a.m. following reports of shots being fired.
Police say one man died at the scene and the second person died in hospital.
They say the shooting was not random.
Witnesses report seeing another vehicle leaving the area and investigators are checking surveillance footage from nearby businesses.
No one has been arrested.
BURNABY, B.C. — NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh says he is taking nothing for granted as he continues to work hard to win a byelection in Burnaby, B.C., and gain a seat in Parliament.
The Insurance Corp. of B.C. says there have been more than 4,450 claims received in the wake of the spills but the vast majority of those vehicles were not damaged.
Minister of Energy Michelle Mungall commissioned the report, which blames the previous B.C. Liberal government for creating the problem.
