Mounties in North Vancouver are asking for the public's help in locating an urn stolen from a car over the weekend.
R-C-M-P say they received multiple reports of vehicle break-ins on West 21st Street around 10:30 Saturday morning.
They say one of the callers reported that her late husband's ashes were in an urn stolen from a white Kia Forte.

British Columbia has introduced legislation that would allow people to get independent advice about their rights after they've been involuntarily detained for treatment of a severe mental health disorder. Patrol members located a 16 year old victim receiving medical treated by school staff. The youth was transported to a local area hospital for treatment of his injuries which included a significant laceration to his head, and suspected concussion and broken arm.
