Mounties in North Vancouver are asking for the public's help in locating an urn stolen from a car over the weekend.
R-C-M-P say they received multiple reports of vehicle break-ins on West 21st Street around 10:30 Saturday morning.
They say one of the callers reported that her late husband's ashes were in an urn stolen from a white Kia Forte.
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS to remain anonymous.

Just two days later, the same owner reported he had found what appeared to be a Molotov cocktail device inside his house, but the container had not ignited. Police say they reviewed video surveillance and arrested a suspect in his mid-40s who remains in custody.
A male victim was located and had suffered a gunshot wound. The victim’s 9-year-old son, who was in the back seat of the vehicle at the time of the shooting, thankfully escaped completely unharmed.
