B-C's Vancity credit union says Christine Bergeron is stepping down as president and C-E-O to take the top job at real estate company Concert Properties.
The credit union says Bergeron will continue with Vancity until mid-July.
Bergeron joined Vancity in 2011 and has been chief executive since 2020.
Concert Properties says she will join the company as president and chief executive on September 5th.
The victim was walking in the south lane of East 2nd Avenue from Commercial Drive on November 1 at around 7:15 a.m. when she was hit by the driver of a Cadillac Escalade. She was taken to hospital where she died from her injuries.
“I was in the same store where I bought the ticket,” recalled Raj, who shared a Maxmillions prize from the draw with another winner in Ontario. “I checked a few tickets and they were small wins, then I checked the winning ticket and I was sweating.”

The victim, a convenience store, shared that when the suspect was spoken to about not paying for ice cream, he began to strike the staff member and brandished a knife. Charges related to assault with a weapon and breach of conditions are being recommended.
