  • Vancouver Christmas Market Celebrates 15 Years | Anniversary Tickets from $6.99 and Brand New German Traditions

Fill your mugs with Hot Aperol Spritz and raise them with a “Prost!”  The Vancouver Christmas Market (vancouverchristmasmarket.com) is officially back for a 15th Anniversary Season, returning to its harbourfront home at Jack Poole Plaza from November 13 to December 24, 2025 with even more festive cheer, European eats, and artisan delights. And this year, a new pricing structure has General Admission starting at just $6.99 (tax included)!

The city’s longest-running Christmas Market transports families and friends to a wintry German town square, with wooden artisan huts, magical light displays, a whimsical carousel, and European food and drink vendors — all surrounding a 35 ft. walk-through Christmas tree and the signature Christmas Pyramid (Glühwein Bar on the bottom, live music on top!) This year’s event will feature a full calendar of popular entertainment and events, like live music, Christmas Trivia and Karaoke, Student and Date Nights, plus Breakfast with Santa, a Tree Lighting Ceremony, and plenty more exciting new experiences (listed below).

To kick off its 15th anniversary celebrations, the Vancouver Christmas Market is offering reduced-rate online tickets, with Presale Promos running from October 2 to November 12, as well as an all new variable pricing that allows you to search for tickets by day and best deal. Starting today, all ticket types are on sale at vancouverchristmasmarket.com/tickets, with some fun new promotions on offer this year:

Eats, Treats & Festive Fun: What’s New This Year?

New Daily Festivities: Immersive German-Inspired Traditions

At many traditional German Christmas markets, Glühwein vendors ring a giant handbell with each new order, Haxen roasts on a spit, and Bratwurst is a fan favourite — and the Vancouver Christmas Market proudly continues these festive traditions! And this year, visitors can look forward to even more authentic European experiences: from a lively communal toast (“Prost!”) and a market-wide bell ringing moment, to a roaming photo cart and surprise giveaways throughout the Market. Each evening brings an extra touch of magic: a dazzling light show at the iconic Christmas Pyramid, complete with a real snow shower.

New Vendors: European Delights Meet Local Favourites

Alongside returning favourites, the 15th Annual Vancouver Christmas Market welcomes an exciting lineup of new vendors, with even more to sip, savour, or take home. Sample your way through the Market during Food Happy Hour, try the Market’s new Hot Aperol Spritz, taste the difference of an authentic German pretzel, and discover the Okanagan’s Dominion Cider and Vancouver’s own Please Beverage Co. Sweets lovers can delight in everything from chocolate-crafted masterpieces and edible butter candles, to Old World staples like popcorn, licorice and walnut cake. In the Kaufmanngasse (Merchant Alley), new artisan vendor huts feature unique gifts like puzzles, alpaca clothing and toys, handcrafted jewellery and a bookstore that supports local BC authors.

New Season Programming: Something for Everyone

This year’s Market is all about making yuletide memories—from speed dating to Seniors’ Wednesdays, with bingo, carollers and 2-for-1 tickets. Kids can find St. Nick at the brand-new Santa’s Workshop, featuring free storytelling and photos with Santa, or delight in hot Market treats (and jolly meet-and-greets) at the new Breakfast with Santa in the Alpen Haus. For the creative crowd, festive hands-on workshops include Xmas Crochet and Paint & Sip tote bag making (paintbrush in one hand, Glühwein in the other). Market aficionados won’t want to miss the first-ever Tree Lighting Ceremony, or this year’s 15th Season Market Mug and two special edition anniversary tote bags.
