Vancouver Police Looking For Shawana Chaudhary And Son After Alleged Parental Abduction

    Vancouver Police are looking for a Vancouver woman, who on March 9th,  allegedly abducted her 9-year-old son, contrary to a court imposed custody order.
     
     
    Shawana Chaudhary may be traveling with her son, Emerson Cusworth, and her six-year-old daughter.
     
     
    Police believe Ms. Chaudhary made plans to be away from home for an extended period, and may be traveling with the two children and one or two dogs. There is no indication that either child has been harmed or is in imminent danger.
     
     
    Ms. Chaudhary is 34 years old, appears South Asian, 5’8 tall, weighs approximately 106 pounds, with long dark hair and dark eyes. Emerson is 9 years old, appears South Asian, weighs approximately 55 pounds, with short black hair and dark eyes.
     
     
     
    Ms. Chaudhary or Shawna, may also be using her old legal name Virjinia Leeman which also could be spelled Virginia Leman. Investigators have information to believe that Emerson’s appearance could have changed and his hair may have been dyed. Ms. Chaudhary may have also changed her appearance.
     
     
    Emerson’s father called police after he went to pick up his son Friday after school, as per his court ordered parenting time, but Emerson was not there. The last confirmed sighting of Emerson, was with his mother and his sister in the morning of Friday March 9th.
