  • Vancouver Police Search For Van From Hit And Run Collision
Police are searching for a van involved in a hit and run collision with a pedestrian on Main Street.
 
At around 4 a.m. on Sunday July 24th, a 27-year-old woman was on Main Street near East 8th Avenue when she was hit by a van that was travelling north on Main Street. The driver of the van continued north on Main Street, without stopping. 
 
The pedestrian suffered significant, but not life-threatening injuries. She was taken to hospital for treatment, and has since been released.
 
The van was described as a light blue, early 1990’s to mid-2000’s Volkswagen Eurovan, similar to the van shown in the attached photograph. Police believe that the van has fresh damage to the front end, including the driver’s side headlight and bumper.
 
The vehicle was driven by a man who was described as white. A woman was also seen in the front passenger seat.
