Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help locating 27-year-old Vance William Plante, who is a high-risk, violent sex offender, and is wanted for breaching his court-ordered conditions.

Plante is described as 5’11” tall. He weighs 180 pounds, and has brown eyes and brown hair. He has tattoos on his right forearm. Plante has numerous court-ordered conditions that include abiding and maintaining electronic monitoring.

However, he has failed to check-in with his probation officer and he has eliminated his electronic monitoring.

Police believe Plante may be in the Downtown Eastside. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1.
