Police in New Westminster say they're on the lookout for a suspect in an alleged assault that occurred at the New Westminster SkyTrain Station this morning. 

New Westminster Police say the victim was punched by a stranger and knocked to the ground at the top of the escalators at the station's entrance on Eighth Street. 

Police say they looked for a suspect matching the description provided by the victim, but couldn't find anyone and are reviewing video footage and speaking with witnesses. 

Investigators say the suspect is a 35-year-old male with short, dark hair, who was wearing a black baseball hat and a black t-shirt
