WATCH: Dash Cam Videos Show Terrifying Drive Out Of Fiery Fort McMurray For Evacuees

    FORT MCMURRAY, Alta. — A Fort McMurray man who captured his harrowing drive out of the burning city on a dash cam says he will be donating proceeds of the popular video to fire victims.
     
    Michel Chamberland posted the video on YouTube after he and about 80,000 other residents had to flee the community on Tuesday.
     
    The video shows orange embers raining down on his pickup truck as towering flames line the side of the road.
     
     
    Chamberland talks in the video about being able to feel the heat from inside his truck and guessing that his home is "gonna be gone."
     
    The 25-year-old oilpatch worker says he had been sleeping after a night shift when a friend phoned to tell him about the evacuation.
     
    He says he's had so many hits from the video that he licensed it to raise money for others affected by the fire.
