Satinder Sartaaj has ruled the hearts and minds of the Punjabi community not only through music but also through his versatility as an actor and as a poet. Sartaaj showed his many talents in the Hollywood film The Black Prince released last year.

It will be a concert that you won’t want to miss out on with the legend Sufi King who will spellbound you with his melodious voice along with his Sufi and folk style of singing. Satinder Sartaaj is considered a scholar of Punjabi culture, traditions, and folk music.

He is not a one hit wonder but somebody who started his journey in the Sufi style of music at a very young age by singing at a Bal-Sabha at a very young age and being mesmerized by the sound of the flute and sarangi artists who would wander in his nearby villages. There was no looking back and his soul’s calling led him to pursue music whole-heartedly and with deep devotion.

He graduated with an Honours degree in music and also completed his 5-year diploma in classical music from Sangeet Vishard in Jalandhar. He then headed to Punjab University, Chandigarh for his Masters in Music. He also holds a PhD with specialization in Sufi poetry.

To honor this legend and his body of music a pre-launch gala was also held on May 11th at the Delta Golf Course which was a huge success and was very well attended by prominent business professionals of the South Asian community.
