WATCH: The Land Owner Transparency Act ("LOTA") is designed to create a publicly accessible land ownership registry in British Columbia to shine a light on who really owns land and properties in the name of trusts or companies.

On November 30, 2020, most of the provisions of this act will come into force. DARPAN MAGAZINE social media host Ish Sharma sat down with lawyer Sonia Virk of Virk Viyas & Associate Lawyers on legalities that you need to be aware of when it comes to property.
