"Our objective is to absolutely amplify and bring attention to the farmers protest but also to highlight the fact, that this is a symptom of a wider human rights and democracy problem that India is facing." "Even if these laws get repealed tomorrow it doesn't mean that the kisaan (farmers) of India are suddenly living incredible lives. The waters are still poisoned, the soil is still toxic and financial debts still persists. And as a result many of them are still going to commit suicide, unfortunately."

Mo Dhaliwal is accused of being involved in an alleged international conspiracy to divide India with the help of celebrities like pop singer Rihanna and climate activist Greta Thunberg, both of whom tweeted in support of the farmers protests.

Thousands of farmers across India have been protesting since November to repeal the agriculture laws passed by the current BJP government. The farmers say these laws will leave them at the mercy of large corporate firms.
