A winter storm warning remains in effect for part of B-C's North Coast.

The bulletin from Environment Canada spans the Stewart area, north of Prince Rupert, and says heavy snow is expected through Wednesday morning.

It says the snow is expected to begin overnight and intensify tomorrow before tapering off to a few flurries the next day.

The weather office says total accumulation will be about 25 to 35 centimetres.

Mounties in Langley are asking for the public's help identifying the vehicle and driver involved in a hit-and-run that injured a pedestrian last November. Langley R-C-M-P say officers responded to a report of a pedestrian in medical distress along 16th Avenue shortly after 3:30 a-m on November 9th.
