Surrey RCMP is seeking witnesses to an attempted abduction of a woman in the area of Edinburgh Drive and 132 Street, in Surrey.

On October 10, 2021 just before midnight, Surrey RCMP received a report that a woman was grabbed from behind by an unknown male who attempted to drag her away as she walked on a path in the green-space connecting Edinburgh Drive and 132 Street. The suspect in this incident is described as a fair-skinned man, 5’ 10”, with a slim build, wearing all black clothing.

In light of this incident, Surrey RCMP are reminding community members to maintain a healthy vigilance; and to report all suspicious activity to police.
