Witnesses Sought In Brampton Homicide Of 20-Year-Old Gurjot Dhaliwal

    Region of Peel – Investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are continuing to investigate the 7th homicide of 2019 and are appealing for witnesses.

    On Tuesday June 18, 2019 at approximately 10:45 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call in the area of Orenda Court and McCallum Court in the City of Brampton.


    Upon arrival, officers located the victim, 20-year-old Gurjot Dhaliwal from Brampton, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a trauma centre where he died as a result of his injuries.


    Investigators believe there are witnesses that have not had the opportunity to speak with officers about this incident.
