Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 13 Oct, 2020 06:35 PM
  • Witnesses sought in crash that killed motorcyclist

Police are seeking witnesses to a crash that killed a 60-year-old motorcyclist on Highway 33 near Kelowna, B.C.

RCMP say a white Chevrolet Tracker was travelling west about noon on Monday, when it crossed the centre line and struck a red Honda motorcycle.

The rider, who was from the Okanagan, suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital, where he died.

Police say the driver of the Tracker was not injured and is co-operating with investigators.

Mounties also say impairment was not a contributing factor in the crash. Anyone who has dash camera video of the collision or movements of the Tracker before the crash is asked to call police.
