The Langley RCMP General Investigation Section has arrested a youth in connection with the assault that occurred at Willowbrook Mall on January 21, 2020.
The Langley RCMP continued their investigation throughout the night and this morning, resulting in the arrest of a male youth.
The investigation continues and charges are expected to be presented to Surrey Crown Counsel.
Langley RCMP Victim Services is engaged in support of the victims involved in the incident.
RCMP are also assisting the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) in the shooting incident that happened shortly before 11 p.m. Sunday, in the 13600-block of 114th Avenue in Surrey
No further information has been released at this time.
