Youth Faces Indecent Act Charge After Alleged Indecent Act At UVic

    SAANICH, B.C. — Police in Saanich, B.C, say a young man has been arrested for allegedly performing an indecent act at the University of Victoria.
     
    They say a young woman was walking on campus Sunday evening when she noticed someone near some bushes, who yelled at her shortly after she passed.
     
    Police say when the woman turned around, she saw that the young man was masturbating.
     
    Campus security called police, who found the youth and placed him under arrest.
     
    Saanich Police say he is now facing one charge of performing an indecent act.
     
    They say officers are also investigating similar events and there may be additional charges.
