Canucks Get Minor Leaguer Adam Clendening From Blackhawks For Gustav Forsling

    VANCOUVER — Defenceman Adam Clendening was acquired by the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday in a trade with the Chicago Blackhawks.
     
    Defenceman Gustav Forsling was sent to the Blackhawks organization in return.
     
    Clendening has played in four NHL games this season, scoring a goal and adding an assist for Chicago.
     
    He has a goal and 12 assists with a minus-4 rating in 38 games with the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League this season.
     
    The 18-year-old Forsling was selected in the fifth round of the 2014 draft by Vancouver. He has three goals and two assists with a plus-5 rating in 35 games with Linkopings HC of the Swedish Hockey League this season.
