  • Surrey RCMP share message via Twitter with Canucks fans before celebrating at Scott Rd tonight

It's Game 7 tonight for the Canucks and fans are really happy that they are still in the NHL Playoffs. Celebrations have taken place for the Canucks game win on Scott Rd and 72nd Ave in Surrey.

Over a 1000 people have descended especially on a Friday night to the Scott Rd and 72nd Ave area of Surrey to cheer on the Canucks and celebrate in full pomp and show dawning Canucks jerseys, honking, and waving flags.

Surrey RCMP have posted tweets to remind the public to adhere to the COVID-19 protocol to celebrate the team's win as people were seen not wearing masks or physical distancing in Surrey on Scott Rd.

Once again prior to Friday night's Game 7 the first for the team in 9 years the Surrey RCMP have taken to Twitter with a message for the public if the Canucks walk away with a win to rethink celebrating at the crowded intersection-instead celebrate by staying home.

The Vancouver Canucks play the Vegas Golden Knights. Puck drops at 6pm.
